Colors of the Day Biography
Colors of the Day is a Pop-Punk and Rock-Punk band with subgenres such as Easy-Core, Electro-Core and Post-Hardcore originally from Puebla de Zaragoza (Mexico) founded in 2011 by Paul Beckett. It is currently made up of vocalist and guitarist Paul Beckett, bassist Mike Romanof and drummer Rafa DC.
Colors of the Day was formed in Puebla de Zaragoza (Mexico) on January 5, 2011 by Paul Beckett, Armando Aguirre, Daniel Melchor and Fernando Saloma. During the first generation, the band appeared in "The War of the Bands" that took place year after year in the Friki-plaza, they also appeared in private parties and local bars. With the passage of time and due to different occupations and personal issues on the part of the members, on November 20, 2016 the band decided to take some time, leaving two singles “Adiós” and “De Ti y Nadie Más” incomplete.
The band resumed its musical career after half a year of rest, on May 18, 2017, later a few months later Daniel Melchor and Fernando Saloma would leave the band, leaving the band incomplete so the band decided to integrate Joseph Storm as their new bassist.
On September 14, 2017 Armando Aguirre leaves and Diego V enters as a new drummer and Erick Alvarado also joins as rhythm guitarist with the course of time they resume "Adiós y De Ti y Nadie Más" Being successfully completed "Adiós". This second generation was dedicated to raising the name Colors of the Day, appearing in local bars, nearby municipalities and giving radio interviews.
On April 13, 2018, Joseph, Diego V and Erick Alvarado left the band, starting the third generation, which was made up of Mike Romanof on electric bass, Benoni Tamayo on drums and Samuel Salcedo as rhythm guitarist. This third and last generation dedicated itself to composition and live performances, giving rise to three singles that were: From you and nobody else, Without you (Toxic) and The question. Thanks to the fact that the band was on the right track, they were invited to the Patron Fairs of different municipalities of the City of Puebla, where they also gave several radio interviews, they performed in small forums and bars, both local and municipal. On October 20, 2019 the band decides to record their first single "Goodbye" but for work and personal reasons the band leaves the recording of the aforementioned single unfinished, and they continue to dedicate themselves to live performances, later the band is invited to the Sixty anniversary of the Palafoxian Seminary fair, giving an excellent show and obtaining its first recognition.
On December 19, 2019, Samuel Salcedo left the band since he was accepted into the Secretary of National Defense and could no longer continue with the band. The band continued to give live shows until March 14, 2020 as the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid 19) virus pandemic began, due to this the band took a long break.

On February 8, 2021, the project was resumed, and given the issues of the pandemic, live shows were prohibited, we entered the recording and culmination of the single "Goodbye", which was presented on October 8, 2021 in all digital platforms as well as the official video.
The band resumed live concerts on November 22 and began working on the recording and production of the second single entitled "Sin ti (Toxic)", which was released on January 2, 2022. Currently Colors of the Day He is recording his first album as well as his official videos.
On February 20, Benoni Tamayo leaves the band and Rafa DC enters as the new drummer. The band is currently promoting its first two singles "Adiós" and "Sin ti (Toxic)", as it is estimated that in August 2022 it will be released. premiere and publish the group's first album.
What does the name Colors of the Day mean?
The name "Colors of the Day" is given by the emotions caused throughout the days, since these can be happy emotions that are related to pleasant colors, instead when we have a bad, sad day, we relate it to a day gray, rainy or cloudy in conclusion the name is a reference that in life there will be good and bad days, so we never have to give up and always see the positive side of things or know how to cope with problems.

The song "Adios" was written for the love disappointment of a relationship, which did not seem to have any problem, but it turned out that there was more uncertainty than normal, so that was the chorus "You did not tell me goodbye, you just left with him”, since he left a void, which managed to be healed over time.
Sin Ti (Toxic)
This song tells the story of a member of the band, who had a toxic and sick relationship, which insecurity and monotony was guilty of perverting a relationship that was normal in his time.
